This is a VERY old school Beaujolais in the best way--beautiful garnet color, beguiling aromatics, and a burst of refreshing and savory minerality. This Domaine produces wines in this way due to the high elevations and because of Mount Brouilly's blue granite. There are ample floral and herbal qualities to this wine with notes of rose petal and thyme, all rounded out with ripe notes of pomegranate, raspberry, and red cherry. This wine can be enjoyed young and fresh or aged for the next few decades. Look no further for your holiday wine, this is that perfect bottle for Thanksgiving or with flavor accents of fresh thyme and sweet cranberry!
