Miquel Pons is a fine producer of Cava in the Penedès region, at the center of Spain's sparkling wine production. A tribute to the grandmother of the owner, Eulália de Pons is a rosé sparkler produced using traditional methods (Méthode Champenoise). This Rosé Cava is made from 100% Trepat, an indigenous local grape.
Their philosophy is to respect the grape in order to get natural products. They vinify with very low levels of residual sugar and only use grapes harvested in their estates, as well as using slow pressings in various stages to get the best from each grape. They work only with local yeasts to maximize the expression of the terroir.
Eulália de Pons Brut Nature Rosé Cava is characterized by a long lasting, fine sparkle, with aromas of red fruits and a refreshing palate. The sparkle forms a creamy mousse in the mouth, giving way to a symphony of red fruits and brioche, rounding off this 100% Brut Nature Cava, leaving a long-lasting pleasant finish.
